Brent crude trading at $77.66/bbl

Crude oil futures on Friday declined 0.41 per cent to Rs6,023 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for January delivery fell Rs25 or 0.41 per cent to Rs6,023 per barrel with a business volume of 14,758 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.49 per cent higher at $72.12 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading up 0.66 per cent at $77.66 per barrel in New York.
